 A residency should be more than just a group of shows. With luck and an amazing residency one is able to witness a scream to the world, a here I am! SECRETIVE GEORGE tried that in July, but band instabilities made it somewhat more difficult. A Nnew lineup, new songs and a debut EP under their belts since then they are ready for attempt number two. Steadily gaining a reputation for putting on a gutsy pop show with all the typical pop trappings, 2011 saw the secretive ones play with Snakadaktal and Frankie and the Heartstrings. Intent on launching a busy January and February, in which they are to play seventeen shows across the country and overseas, they leave you with a five week residency of the best Melbourne bands. Free entry, ten dollar jugs and cheap vodka shots so you know its going to be hectic.
